Students residing in Akron may be eligible for transportation services through the Akron Public School District. Students enrolled at SCS may submit a Request for Transportation (RFT) with proof of residency to Akron Transportation Department. SCS will submit the RFT for the student, but parents/guardians may work directly with APS to sign up for bus service. Contact the school office for more information on this service.

Students residing in other cities may contact their local school district to determine eligibility for transportation. If transportation is not available from the local district, the requesting family may be eligible for payment in lieu through their home district.

Here Comes the Bus is an app offered through Akron Public Schools for students residing in Akron. This app allows you to follow the bus as it drives your student’s route. Once the app is downloaded, you will need to contact the school for the school code and your student’s ID to set up your account.
